Where the audit stands

No independent audit of FaroVPN has taken place yet, and we’d rather say so. When one is done, the firm’s name, the date and the report will be published on this page.

Definition

What does “no-logs” mean?

A no-logs VPN keeps no record of what you do once connected: no list of sites, no session times, no source IP address. It still needs a little account data to bill you and enforce the device limit.
Sensitive data that is not recorded

For you

What it means for you

How we keep data to a minimum

  • An EU company

The GDPR governs every piece of data we process.
  • Payment kept separate

Stripe processes the payment. We receive the payment status and reference, along with the information needed for billing. We don’t receive your full card number.
  • Devices you can remove

Removing a device in your account deletes its identifier.
  • Account deletion

You can delete your account from your account settings.
  • Export your data

Download everything we hold about you in one file.
  • Open protocol

VLESS and Reality come from the open-source Xray project, whose code is public.

Frequently asked questions

Does FaroVPN record the sites I visit?
No. Not the sites, not the DNS queries, not the traffic content.
Why do you keep my device list?
To enforce your plan’s device limit. The identifier says nothing about your browsing, and you can remove a device at any time.
Why do you count data volume?
To spot abnormal use of an account, such as a publicly shared link. Only the total for the period is kept, with no breakdown by site or time.
What happens if an authority asks for my data?
We can only hand over what we have: the account data listed above. We have no browsing history.
Does the farovpn.com website keep logs?
The website and account area keep short technical logs for security. They’re described in the privacy policy and have nothing to do with your VPN traffic.
How do I delete all my data?
Delete your account in your account settings, or email [email protected]. Some invoices are kept for as long as the law requires.
