Terms of service

Last updated: 30 October 2026.

These terms apply to your use of the FaroVPN service and to buying a subscription. By creating an account or placing an order, you accept them.

1. Who we are

The service is provided by FaroVPN SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (société par actions simplifiée) with its registered office in Paris, France. Contact: [email protected].

2. The service

FaroVPN provides access to VPN servers running the VLESS protocol with Reality, through our apps, which you sign in to with your account. The Chrome, Firefox and Edge extensions provide an HTTPS proxy limited to the browser.

We don’t guarantee access to any particular website or online service, or that the service will work on a network that blocks it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private. The number of devices connected at the same time is limited by your plan. You may share the subscription within your household, up to that limit.

4. Ordering and payment

FaroVPN is the seller and issues invoices. Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, our payment provider, on the secure Stripe Checkout page (checkout.stripe.com). The VAT that applies in your country is calculated at checkout; prices on farovpn.com include all taxes. An invoice is issued for each payment and remains available in your account.

5. Term, renewal and cancellation

  • The subscription runs for the period you choose: 1 month, 1 year or 2 years.
  • A one-month subscription renews automatically every month.
  • At the end of the initial one-year or two-year period, the subscription continues automatically for an indefinite period, billed monthly at the monthly price shown when you order. During this extension you can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly period you have already paid for.
  • One to three months before the initial one-year or two-year period ends, we email you the end date of that period, the monthly price that applies afterwards and your right to cancel. The email also includes an offer for a new one-year period at a reduced price, with the exact amount you would save. That new period only starts if you expressly agree.
  • You can cancel at any time online, from your account under Subscription, using the Cancel button. We confirm the cancellation by email.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; access stays open until then.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have 14 days from the date you subscribe to withdraw, without giving a reason (French Consumer Code, articles L221-18 onwards). To withdraw, write to support or use the form below.

If you start using the service before this period ends, you are asking for it to begin straight away. If you then withdraw, the law allows us to charge for the part of the service already provided; within the first 30 days, we refund the full amount anyway under our guarantee.

Withdrawal form

To FaroVPN SAS, [email protected]:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service:

Ordered on: … · Consumer’s name: … · Account email address: … · Date: …

7. Money-back guarantee

On top of the right of withdrawal, your first payment is covered by a 30-day guarantee. Its conditions are set out on the money-back guarantee page.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

The service is covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services under articles L224-25-12 onwards of the French Consumer Code. If something is wrong, contact support.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • commit or facilitate illegal activity;
  • send unsolicited bulk messages;
  • attack, scan without permission or disrupt networks and systems, including ours;
  • resell access or share your account outside your household.

You are responsible for following the law of the country you are in, including where it restricts VPN use. In the event of a serious breach, we may suspend the account after warning you, except in an emergency.

10. Liability

We do what is needed to keep the service running, but interruptions can happen for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

11. Personal data

How we process your data is described in our privacy policy and our no-logs policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We’ll email you at least 30 days before any significant change. If you don’t accept it, you can cancel before it takes effect.

13. Governing law, mediation and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If there’s a dispute, please write to support first. If no solution is found, you can use, free of charge, the consumer mediator we are registered with. Mediator: to be completed before publication. You can also take the matter to the competent court under the ordinary rules.
