Terms of the guarantee

• The guarantee applies to the first purchase of a FaroVPN subscription, whatever the plan or period.
• We must receive your request within 30 days of the date of your first payment.
• The refund covers the full amount paid, VAT included.
• You don’t have to give a reason.
• The refund ends the subscription and access to the servers.
• Renewals aren’t covered by the guarantee; see below.
• Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are refunded under Apple’s or Google’s rules.

The guarantee and your right of withdrawal

For purchases made at a distance, French consumer law gives you a 14-day right of withdrawal (Code de la consommation, articles L221-18 onwards). The 30-day guarantee comes on top of it and doesn’t replace it. During the first 30 days you get a full refund, whichever one you rely on.

After 30 days

You can cancel at any time in your account, under Subscription. Access stays open until the end of the paid period; the current period isn’t refunded, except where the law requires it.

One to three months before the initial period of a one-year or two-year subscription ends, we email you the end date, the monthly price that applies afterwards and your right to cancel. The email also includes an offer for a new year at a reduced price, with the exact amount you would save. That new year only starts if you expressly agree. After the initial period, the subscription continues month by month. You can cancel at any time; during this extension, cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
